Unarmed
The exhibition Unarmed will open on Sunday, march 28th at 12pm-7pm at the Reykjanesbær art museum. The group exhibition features eleven artists who capture the challenges of life in their own way. By incorporating their experiences into their artwork, the artists become both vulnerable and sincere. They develop intimate works that we can identify with or learn from in our interpretations. The works in the exhibition show perseverance and resilience, celebrating the human form with humor and vulnerability.
On friday the 26th of March Michael Richardt will perform RED MEAT on Facebook Live from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Artists: Ásdís Sif Gunnarsdóttir, Berglind Ágústsdóttir, Dýrfinna Benita, Egill Sæbjörnsson, Freyja Reynisdóttir, Hildur Ása Henrýsdóttir, Maria Sideleva, Melanie Ubaldo, Michael Richardt, Róska og Sara Björnsdóttir.

The exhibition is a project by MA students in Curatorial Practice at the Iceland University of the Arts.
